We can talk through lighting control, motorised blind and curtain control, audiovisual systems, security and connectivity, so you can make informed decisions from the outset.

We coordinate the technology installation with your builder, electrician and project team, keeping cabling, equipment locations and control requirements aligned as the work progresses. When project details change, we work through the implications with the team and adjust the agreed approach. We then coordinate commissioning so the installed systems can be configured, tested and prepared for everyday use.

Our system design and documentation service gives your project team a clear, coordinated plan before installation begins. Depending on the scope, it can include control layouts, reflected ceiling plans, schematics, equipment locations and cable schedules. It supports informed decisions and gives the builder, electrician and technology team a shared reference as the project develops. Available as a standalone design service or as part of a SEVON installation.

Programming turns the installed equipment into a system that feels natural to use. We configure C-Bus lighting scenes and schedules, RTI central control and agreed functions for compatible audiovisual, security and access systems. Controls are tailored to the people using them, so a scene, schedule or single command can bring the agreed functions together. We test those functions as part of commissioning and guide you through the controls at handover.

We select and supply equipment to suit your project, with attention to compatibility, reliability and budget. Our range covers automation and control equipment, audiovisual systems, security and networking. For lighting, blinds and curtains, we supply the control equipment that operates them, rather than the light fittings or window furnishings themselves. Each selection is considered as part of the complete system, including how it will be installed, programmed and supported.

After handover, we provide ongoing support for the systems we install. Whether you need help investigating a fault, refining a control or adapting the system as your needs change, we assess what is needed and explain the next steps. We can also discuss changes to the existing setup, helping you understand what can be adjusted and where additional work may be needed.

When should we involve SEVON?
Early planning gives your project team time to consider cabling, equipment locations and control requirements before installation. If your build is already underway, tell us the stage you are at so we can discuss the next steps.
Can you help with an existing home?
Tell us what you have and what you would like to change. We can discuss the possibilities around the existing equipment, cabling and access, with the scope shaped by what is practical for your property.
Can you work with our builder and electrician?
Yes. We work closely with your builder and nominated electrical contractor to coordinate cabling, equipment locations and installation throughout the project. We also collaborate with your interior designer so that controls and equipment complement the finishes, layout and intended use of each space.
Can we engage you just for design?
Yes. System design and documentation are available as a standalone paid service, as well as part of a SEVON installation. Depending on your project, this can include control layouts, reflected ceiling plans, system schematics, equipment locations and cable schedules. We agree which documents are needed and the level of detail, giving your builder, electrician and technology team a clear reference for coordination and installation.
